Biddulph Grange Country ParkContributor: Pete ColeshawRoute tester: Nobby & Raab Area: North Biddulph Distance/Time from Biddulph: 2 minutes from centre Travel details: Coming from Congleton to Biddulph, turn right into Grange Road on the LHS as you come into Biddulph. From Biddulph, head towards Congleton, pass Woodhouse Lane, Grange Road is next on the RHS Up Grange Road, you pass the entrance to Biddulph Grange, and then the entrance to Biddulph Grange apartments. Turn into Grange Park Road - the next entrance on the right. Easily missed! Length/Time of walk: 30 – 60 minutes Walk rating: Some energetic bits Special features: Pretty woodland and lake Peaceful but not isolated Visitor centre and disabled facilities (but why is the gate leading to the disabled parking always padlocked?) Picnic tables Biddulph Grange gardens and tea-rooms just down the road. Other comments: Well used by dog walkers – friendly regulars and dogs! Different routes allow walks of 15 to 45 minutes.
