drinking all the time

my 9 week old boxer pup drinks loads of water,untill her stomach goes like a ball,if i let her,i\'ve had a blood test done for a check on her kidneys,it came back ok,only her protein was 41,so trying to increase her protein in her diet,but her appetite is small,any ideas please?




I wonder whether a full blood check was made to include liver function?

At this age we have to eliminate congenital problems - problems present from birth, and that includes 'plumbing' problems with the liver, kidney defects, bowel malformations and the like.

It is always difficult to offer advice without seeing the animal - is she underweight? is she bouncy and happy?

A protein level of 41 is low and certainly needs investigating to find out why, particularly if she has been well fed and cared for prior to you getting her.
