birds26.11.2006hi i keep birds, i was wondering are any of your vets specialised in birds and their treetments and also do you sell the panacure bird wormer? i have had this wormer recommended to us but apparently very hard to get hold of.. i have quite a lot of birds and can never find a vet that can tell one bird from another let alone how to treat or diagnose, i had a chick with pneumonia and they told me in order to get the antibiotics needed i had to take it in, i know all the symptoms and knew what it was but is impossible for me to take a couple of day old chick out in a cold car and get it to the vets for treatments ... mor e to the point is i dont even have a car and so have to walk.. the bird would have been dead before i got more than 30 steps in this weather.. - katie we are not bird specialists but we will always try and help unfortunately it is illegal for us to sell 'prescription-only' medecines to animals (and birds)that are not 'under our care'. This usually means having seen the animal, but with pets such as yours, some sense has to prevail as this is not always possible. feel free to call and chat with us - 10.30 am is good - you'll catch the kettle on at this time - pete coleshaw Back |
