Dog Neuting

My dog is 5 yrs old, Bull Mastiff, and very difficult to control. Will neuting help with his training




Hi Carol - not such a simple question I'm afraid
Firstly he is 5 years old - never too old to teach a dog a few tricks, but many behaviour patterns will have become well established and will not be sorted by simple/quick means at this age.

You really need professional help to establish exactly what his problems are & why they happen. Castration will reduce male to male aggression but may make other forms of aggression worse.
