why does my female dog likle to hump?

my 6 yr old female dog as just took a liking to humping my pillows she has not been done and she is a cross between a border and jack russell. Why does she do this?




all of us have both male and female hormones, usually well in balance, though sometimes that balance gets disturbed

as she has not been speyed, she may have ovarian problems - this is more likely if her seasons are not normal or regular

even speyed (and castrated) dogs sometimes perform this behaviour, as do puppies before puberty. But dont worry, it wont cause any harm!
